Research suggests that benefits of Mindfulness include increased resilience and improved social relationships. It also helps us better cope and thrive in stressful conditions, as well as promotes greater personal authenticity.

3. Is Mindfulness a kind of religious practice?
Although Mindfulness has its roots in the Eastern meditative traditions and Buddhist teachings, it has now evolved to become a secular, non-religious practice that does not involve rituals, prayers or ceremonies. 

4. Is Mindfulness just a trending craze?

Backlash is inevitable with the unbridled enthusiasm about Mindfulness. While most people have many wounds that need healing and studies have shown that Mindfulness can help with the healing process, it is important for us to remember that Mindfulness practice is not a miracle pill. It cannot solve all problems and we should not expect short term, fix-me quick solutions from Mindfulness practices. However, you can be assured that Mindfulness practices will work over time with commitment and discipline.

5. Who can practice Mindfulness?
Anyone - of different ages and walk of life can practice Mindfulness and we encourage you to make it part of your life!

6. I have medical conditions. Can I still practice Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programs?
Yes, MBSR has been scientifically proven to be a positive support to a variety of medical conditions. Nevertheless, if you are currently seeing a medical professional, we would encourage you to inform him/her before engaging in Mindfulness practices.

7. I am too busy. How can I fit Mindfulness practice into my busy schedule?

Mindfulness practices need not be long and complicated. There are short and simple exercises that can be easily integrated into your life as you go about your daily activities. In fact, Mindfulness practices could serve your busy schedule well as it helps you become consciously aware of things that are non-essential and gain more clarity on your priorities. That is when you could start decluttering your schedule and end up with more time.
